Balinese people being the most loving community on the earth helps a lot in Christmas celebration. You will see the banners wishing all Christians "Merry Christmas" or "Selamat Hari Natal". You will see the Balinese staff in hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants decorating Christmas trees and setting up tinsels. Malls will be decorated the same way plus you will hear Christmas carols wishing tidings of great joy. There is even a community choir who would visit restaurants, pubs, cafes and foreigners moved there singing Christmas carols.
New Year's Eve
Kuta has the biggest nightclubs, great for anyone who wants to party all night. Good music, drinks, and fireworks – all contribute to keep the party going into the early hours of the morning.
For a more relaxed New Year’s Eve, head to the quieter villages of Sanur or Ubud. The upscale resorts and private villas have their own entertainment events for NYE exclusively for their guests.
